ASEAN's adherence to the principle of non-intervention makes it difficult for it to take drastic measures. The ASEAN nations were not homogenous. Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore criticized the Tatmadaw, although Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia were unwilling to interfere. We end up talking so much that we don't get to the text, but it's a fun conversation and I learn enough from the free talk. Thanks to you, I have come to like English, which I used to dislike, and now I have meetings in English every day.
