 We talked about “Longevity”. There are a lot of issues around the elderly society in Japan. It’s important to have a good relationship between parents and children.  Thank you for the fun lesson as usual Nik! We talked about various topics, such as Japan's food culture, the National Foundation Day of Japan, Setsubun (Bean-Throwing Festival), and so on. Azabujuban is a special town for me because it was my former working place for 8 years. I went there last week for the first time in three years. There are many shops that have been around a long time. One of the reasons I visited there was that I wanted to check whether those shops were still there. Most of them were okay, and I was so relieved to see them! Then I bought a box of six Taiyaki (a fish-shaped cake with sweet red beans inside) at a famous Taiyaki shop. See you in the next lesson!
Nik先生、いつも楽しいレッスンをありがとうございます！日本の食文化、建国記念の日、節分など、さまざまな話題で盛り上がりました。麻布十番は、私が8年間勤務していた場所でもあり、特別な街です。先週、3年ぶりに行ってきました。麻布十番には、昔からあるお店（老舗）もたくさんあります。それらのお店がまだあるかどうか、自分の目で確かめたかったのも、今回麻布十番を訪れた理由のひとつです。ほとんどのお店が大丈夫で、とても安心しました！それで、有名なたい焼き屋さんで、たい焼き（中に小豆が入った魚の形のお菓子）６個入り一箱を買いました。それではまた次回のレッスンで！
