He speaks at natural speed, and perfect pronunciation.
But, that is too fast for beginners.
Typical Japanese can understand basic English, but natural speed is too fast to listen, especially for beginners.

Thank you for today's lesson. This is my first lesson with Ms Melissa,but I feel we have known each other for a long time. She is kind and friendly enough to make me feel so. My nephew(the student) was a little too excited as he rushed home right after school today. Matthew controlled him very well and encouraged him to make full sentences and a lot of conversations.
