Today we talked about common expressions in e-mails again. Although grammars are difficult, I need to check them each time I face new expressions. Also, we talked about some Japanese words that are not found in English. The difference of words or concepts might reflect and come from the difference of cultures. She told me about the cultural difference in conversation among British, American, and Japanese, explaining some examples. I was so impressed with it. She speaks British English, but she could speak American English also! It was so much fun for me. The texts we used also help me to understand some words.
