This is our first lesson. He is kind and polite, and besides, he has less accent which makes me easier to understand.
However, I couldn’t receive clear instruction from him through the lesson. I don’t mean to be rude, but it is frustrating that it was me to lead the session, such as asking other expressions or typing them on the skype message for a review.

I took double lessons which I booked last week. I sent him 3 news articles, read them and gave him my view about the topics.
But just like the last one, his lesson needed instruction from student’s side. Even though the three topics are quite different, I found it hard to continue talking with him.
He never pointed out grammatical mistakes I made, nor offered other expressions. I don’t want to be rude, but such instruction should be given from teacher’s side, as our lesson time is limited.

In today's lesson, we used Lesson 11 Episode 2 . Learned new expressions: "I have a theory" (I think I can guess), "work for" , "crap" (shit), "make a fortune off/from" "find a way". The lesson was really fun! Thank you Katherine.

I learned now expressons and words today: catch on(understand), God love him (care for, similar with God bless him), vocal (talk a lot).
The grammer of "I was going to give it to you the next time I mowed" is incredibly confusing but Katherine helped me understand. I will check the website you indroduced. Thank you!

We talked about how do we express our anger and frustration. I learned a new word "bottle it up". Also we talked about inspiration. We both agreed thatacting on the inspiration is harder than feeling inspiration. I really enjoyed talking with Katherine. Thank you!

We made a brief catch up and read an article about GPS car navigation. We both have bad sence of direction. Reading an article together and talking about it is much more fun than just reading articles by myself. I learned new word " intuitive" today. She corrected my pronouciation of "Feature". 真面目で優しくとても良い先生です。ですが子供は、1回目のときはまだなんとか良かったのですが、今日は2回目で狎れもあったのか、完全に舐めてしまっていました。先生の質問にも答えずレッスンの進行を妨げるように話を変えたりしていました。子供に振り回されやりにくかっただろうと申し訳なく思います。

This was the first lesson with Inger.We did the REC.We read the dialog and studied words.Then Inger ordered me to use phrase "I'll put in a good word for you".And we talked about the case that we can't agree with someone's recommendation.I was lucky to take the lesson like this.See you next lesson.

今日は集中で発音の練習をお願いしました。
口の開け方や舌の動かし方を丁寧に教えてくださるのでレッスンの後はきれいに発音が出来ます(継続が難しいですが)。
