katherine! From early on I was a mischievous and evil boy, I used to throw stray cats into the river, caught flies and left them without wings. That time I didn`t have many toys to play, let alone a tv to watch or video game. My pastime were marbles, tag ,hide-and-seek and others that I don`t remember. I didn`t need to hit the books, or being like a nerdy in front of the computer. It sounds sour grapes cause I was not well-off but I think I had a pleasant and HEALTHY childhood playing outside the house. At school I was a shy boy, not a silver-tongued devil far beyond your expectation. I was even scared to raise my hand to the teachers, let alone talk the leaders into leading the others to mischief. |

katherine! I am not sure if I were a cheeky chappy at school, but I assure you that we boys want to be a fun loving person so that we can be a big hit with the girls at school. |

Thank you for sending me the links. Fish & Chips are amazing. They seem to be enjoying every adventure they have. And I enjoyed watching the Jelly Springer show. They dissed a lot! I also enjoyed listening to how Mei-chan is manipulative with you. I am looking forward to our next lesson! |

I learn a vocabrary "bottle everything up". In the book Bob bottles everything up and waites for James letting him go outside for doing his business. I also learned ruin-in, quirks, titbit, slaloming around, scramper away, and tracksuit. Thank you Katherine. |

I learned good vocabraries today including "dis(speaking disrespectfully")", "lull (soothing, causing sleep)", "to sink in(entering the mind)", "I will get you for that (I will get you later)", and "rain down on (fall or drop down on somthing like a rain)". It's interesting to learn swear words because Japanese don't swear as much as English people do and maybe that's why we have limited swear words. I can't wait our next lesson. Thank you Katherine! |

Today I introduced my cat Shake to Katherine's cat Mei-chan. Being shy, he blushed and run away once. But after a while he came back and walked around the PC monitor, hoping to take another look at the beautiful cat. Maybe I should teach him how to strike a good conversation with a lady! |

We continued reading the book on Bob. I learned some good vocabraries such as bossy (a bossy person always tell other people what to do), cooing (speaking softly and lovingly to a baby or a pet), easing into "to become gently introduced or accosutomed to something new), jewel/diamond ( a person or thing that is treasured, esteemed). Thank you Katherine. I am looking forward to our next lesson! |

When I told Katherine about my cat Shake being upsetting in the morning, she suggested giving silver vine to him. After the lesson, I gave it to him. He licked it and looked happy for a while but as soon as my husband got back home he started to be upset again. Maybe he wanted to take a walk. I guess it's time to buy him a leash... |

Before reading the Bob book, I asked Katherine some questions about English expressions I encountered watching a movie. After that, we continued to read the Bob book. I learned some new vocabularies. I enjoyed the reading. Thank you Katherine. |

The vocabraries I leaned today seem quite useful. I mull thigs over during my commute. Sometimes my cats don't like me drooling them over too much. I have a deep-seated feeling my cats would soon start complaining the food I've been feeding them for quite a long time. My cats likes watching the neighbours getting on with their day. I hope my cats will get strong enough to shun away strays. As soon as I plonked my self on the sofa, Sakura climed onto my lap. When my husband is getting ready for work, Shake lurks around him. When he said good bye to Sakura, she looks him back dismissively. Thank you Katherine. I am looking forward to our next lesson. |

I enjoyed talking to Katherine. Mei-chan was on her lap and after she's gone, my cat Sakura came up to my lap to attend the lesson. We were so happy with our lap cats! They are awesome! |

We read the Bob book. I learned some new expressions including "be as right as rain" (feeling well), "lethargic" (feel drained),"chipper" (feeling well),"padding off" (going off, used only for animals with paws), "self-sufficient" (financially independent), "easy someone out of" (gradually let someone leave). I learned a lot today! Thank you Katherine! |

Today, we talked about pet cats and animals. It was very lucky that I've met her lovely cat. I'm a dog-lover and Katherine is a cat-lover. I enjoyed the topic and felt pet owners should take a responsibility to breed their pet until the last time of their lives. Katherine's cat is really happy with her love. Thank you for teaching me new expressions and comments. See you next time! |
