Friendly & first lesson with her. She is a great teacher, facilitating conversation and introducing me new words, such as arcade (with the meaning of game center, instead of shopping corridor), recede, etc. Definitely, will have next lesson with her soon. |

It was the first lesson with her. We had a lot in common, so I found her easy to talk . Her vibrancy made me open up and encouraged me to speak so much. I got great satisfaction from the lesson. Thank you! |

Tonight in our class we covered a while lot of topics, including my trips to the UK, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Japanese politics, economy, and tourism! I have come to realize again that Japan needs to improve better for more foreigners to visit Japan without worrying. We had a tremendously deep discussion, which I really enjoyed. I hope to see you again soon. |

It's our first lesson for past about 2 months. So we caught up on each other's recent life. After that, we talked about food waste campaign in the U.K., named "Love Food Hate Waste". It is the campaign that I'm researching now. She said she's heard of it. So I asked about it. She also told me how she was told about wasting food in her childhood. It was a very interesting story for me. We shared our knowledge about some activities to redistribute food that companies can not sell but still can be eaten, too. It was really wonderful lessons. Thank you, Vanessa! See you! |

This is the first time I've talked with Venessa. I introduced my family and hobbies. Internet connectivity was not good enough to listen her speech, but it was very fun. Thanks. |

I had a good opportunity to talk my family event - my grand daughter's one year birthday, I was happy that Vanessa understood what we did at the event. I would like to know what kind events or celemonies related to children in UK next time. Thank you. |

This was our first lesson in a couple of weeks, so we caught up on each other's lives. After that, I asked her to correct my last comment to our lesson and also requested to clarify the corrections. She explained her reason and intention of each correction. I sometimes noticed that I could not have my intention fully understood. So we discussed how to express what I thought. It was really good practice for both writing and talking. Thank you, Vanessa. See you! |

We talked about Japanese basic geography and snow today. I learned how to explain Japanese location and found that how to call the continent next Japan might be different from yours an ours. And it's the first time for me to talk about the activities in heavy snow regions in Japan. I faced many difficulties to explain them, but it gave me a chance to learn about it. Thank you, Venessa. See you soon! |

I submitted two questions before lesson started and we talked about these questions in our lesson. My first question is about the difference among "find", "notice" and "realize". Venessa explained the differences and usages to me. Another question is about the phrase "carcass meat and bones" that I encountered in a report. She also explained her image of these words and it's not a daily phrase. I could understand them more than just consulting dictionaries. Thank you very much, Venessa. |

I took two straight Vanessa's lessons. Our topic today is "Cemetery" and "Church." I learned the definitions and usage of vocabulary. Vanessa talked about related stories very well, so I really enjoyed her lessons and learned a lot from her talk. I'm looking forward to talking with her in Serbia next time. |
