Hello,

My name is Jessica and I am  a native English speaker and TEFL-certified English and Literature teacher with over 5 years of professional teaching experience working with learners of all ages and backgrounds. Over the past 5 years, I have had the privilege of guiding students through their  English language journey. 

My teaching covers a wide and comprehensive range of English language skills, carefully designed to meet the needs of both younger learners and working professionals:

• Conversational English: I will help you build your confidence and fluency so that it is will be easy to expess yourself clearly in any situation.

• Business English: I will help you build up your vocabulary for your workplace and other  professional settings.

• Interview Preparation: I will also coach you on how best to respond to difficult questions and present yourself as the strongest candidate.

• Pronunciation & Spoken Clarity: We can explore different accents, intonation, rhythm, and clarity, so that what you say is always understood the way you intend it.

• Academic English: I also support my students in honing essay writing skills and research writing skills. 

• IELTS & TOEFL Preparation: I can help you prepare for your external exams, focusing on the four core skills , reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with proven strategies for achieving your target band score.

• English Literature: This is one of my favourite lessons to teach, we can explore books, literary devices, structure etc. for those who want to be intentional about exploring a deeper understanding of English across different times and forms of expression. 

Every student who works with me consistently can expect to see real progress depending on your goals. I do not believe all student are the same, they come from different background, have different goals, and a different relationship with English. Before we begin, I take the time to understand exactly where you are and exactly what you want achieve, and I build our lessons around that.

My classes are well structured, and suited to meet your needs. I also set clear objectives for each lesson so that you always know what you are working toward and why. I also provide honest, constructive feedback at every stage because that is how we track your progress.

I understand that learning a language as an adult, or supporting a child through it, requires patience, consistency, and a teacher who takes your time seriously. You will always find me prepared, punctual, and fully committed to your success.

I work with both adults and younger learners, and for the professionals, my focus is on practical, career-relevant English for the workplace. For children and teenagers, I build structured, age-appropriate lessons that make learning engaging while ensuring strong academic foundations. I do not limit my lessons to just the materials available on the platform, but also external materials so my students can have a variety of materials to learn with.
