I brought up the topic about extensive reading. Extensive reading is a learning method, that is to read books a lot with no dictionary. They say I can realize the meaning of a new word naturally without dictionary. But I doubt it. To acquire the meaning of a new word requires dictionary, I think. |

Today was the 2nd time of lesson! Mr. Leslie questioned my son much. Mr. Leslie is very gentle teacher. You also informed me about a Canadian country. The summer holidays end for my son, from today, a kindergarten is a first. He was a little tired(><) I'm also looking forward to the next lesson! |

We talked about climate in Canada and Japan. The melting ice causes flooding, it's scary. But in Japan, the typhoons often approach, and there are many volcanoes which are active, sometimes erupt. And Japanese summer is very hot and humid! |

I said that I was pointed out my body odor in these days. So, I changed the detergent and use deodorant. But Mr. Leslie didn't make comments much. He may think this is sensitive matter. I don't care about that. No problem. |

We have talked delicate political issues about war and peripheral nations. I've learned much by him. Today's discussion was fruitful. We hope peace, I think. |

I give him full marks as always in lesson review. 5 star is best. I told him that I listen and read BBC news.I'm studying through BBC. He gave me URL about Japanese news in English. Domestic news are familiar with me, so it's easy to understand. Thank you Mr. Leslie! Bye~ |

Your speech was more casual than that of other teachers, so it was difficult but beneficial for my listening practice. |
