 Her speaking speed and pronunciation is easy to listen and understand for me. She was sitting close to the camera, so that I can see her facial expression well. I was relieved that. She recommended a YouTube channel which I can study English, because I usuary study English by watching YouTube. I will practice to speak English more hard and then I'd like to talk to her more fluently.

 I went to Ghibli Exhibition. I talked about “Ponyo” & “Totoro” with Catherine-sensei before. This time I showed a photo of “湯婆婆”. She knows well about her. I got a fortune slip of “湯婆婆”．I tried to translate in English. I was glad that Catherine-sensei was interested in it.

 テキストを使ったレッスンに、フリートークを多めに入れてくれます。
先生はたくさん質問をしてくれるので、トーキングの練習に最適です。
笑顔で接してくれるので、緊張がなくなっていきます。今日はあっという間にレッスン時間が過ぎました
トーク力を高めたい方におすすめの先生です。
ただ、テキスト通りに進めたい方はサラっと流すだけになるので向いてないかもしれません。

She asked me how do I think and deal with ageing. I answered my opinion but it was difficult to explain it in English. She helped me to express myself in English so that I could explain properly.

 I explained the “Children’s day” to Catherine-sensei. I showed my son’s display including “Kabuto, Katana, Yumi-ya and Koi-Nobori 🎏”. She was really interested in the Japanese traditional events or histories. I’d like to try to explain Japanese history more. Also I read a picture book of “Kintaro” in English. It’s so interesting.

 I stay in my youngest daughter’s house which is in a small island connected with Mukai-Shima in Hiroshima prefecture. I tried to ride on a bicycle around Shimanami-kaido in Seto island Sea. It was a beautiful day for cycling. I was tired and gave up on the half way. Chatherine-sensei also love cycling. I’m glad to hear that. She
got a cycling accident for three weeks ago. Please take care ahead.

 I showed the story of “Tonari no Totoro” to Catherine-sensei with a picture book. She knows it very well. Also I showed paper dolls of “Totoro”．One of them was drawn by my husband. It was really hilarious. We laughed a lot.

 I read Cathy’s profile. I’m really impressed her thought as an English Teacher. She wants us to enjoy learning and studying without intense pressure. I’m very glad to know that she is a big fan of Japanese Anime produced by Hayao Miyazaki（3歳の孫と「崖の上のポニョ」 をDVDで観た直後で話題にしたところ、キャシー先生も詳しくご存知で心躍りました）．I had a great time.
