Today I read an article from Breaking News English. I did rephrasing exercise again with Dilhara. I learned the expresson "what is more", which seems quite useful. Maybe I will use it next time. Thank you Dilhara! I am looking forward to your next lesson! |

Dilhara prepared an article for the lesson and I read it out loud. Then summarized each sentence using different expression. It was difficult to express short sentence in another way. But he showed me examples, so gradually I understood better. It was difficult lesson but I feel I will improve by doing this, so I want to keep on trying. Thank you for the lesson and see you soon! |

It was our first lesson. I had requested him beforehand that I wanted to practice answering questions he'd give me, and he picked up questions related to my city. First he told me about his city and I tried to answer his questions following his talk. But I couldn't answer them properly because I didn't know much about my city! I was so embarrassed! I think Dilhara is a calm and conscientious teacher. |

I felt that he is very good honest teacher. When he knew my English level, he has spoken slowly so that I can listened his speak. And he listened my poor English while checking my English skill. Finally, he gave me a good advice to improve my English. I felt that I can expect a useful output from him. Thank you. |

とても素晴らしい先生です。いつも一生懸命に取り組んでくださり授業の進め方も素晴らしいです。エイゴックスの中で一番有能な方だと思います。先生はエイゴックスに入社されてまだ半年足らずですが、もう既になんと55人の生徒からお気に入りポイントがついています。それも授業は毎日3時間しか開講していないのに。中々そういう先生には巡り会えないと思いますけど。 |

Dilhara-sensei introduced me some places in Australia, which are worth visiting. Especially he gave me some information about the city where he lives. He says it is the best time to visit there in June, July and August, when it is summer in Japan. I really hope to visit there. |

We did a rephrasing practice using an article from the Breaking News English. Dilhara showed me his own rephrased versions and I learned that changing a subject and object is also useful strategy, by which we can change what is emphasized. I enjoyed today's lesson. Thank you Dilhara. |

This was my first time to take Dilhara's lesson. We introduced each other and talked about overwork in Japan and about "premium Friday". He taught me effective way to study fluent English that to learn expression as a phrase. It will help me to improve my fluency which is my goal. There were a lot to gain through the lesson in 25mins. Also he listened to me carefully and patiently. Thank you for the lesson and see you soon at next time! |

Today I did the repharsing practice with Dilhara using a Breaking News English article as we did the last time. I've found that rephrasing paraglaphs using useful expressions identified was really a good practice because by doing so I forced myself to use expressions including the ones which I had never used before, or otherwise would never use in the future. I'm sure that this kind of exercise will help extend my vocabraries. Thank you Dilhara! Have a good day! |

We used one of the article of the Breaking News English for today's lesson. First I read the article at loud and then we reviewed vocabraries. After that we analyzed the structure of the two paragraphs and rephrased each paragraph using the expressions I've just learned. I liked today's practice very much. By rephrasing the article by myself using the key words and expressions, I was able to practice constructing sentences by myself and using the key expressions at the same time. I think continuing this type of lesson will help improve my fluency. Thank you Dilhara. I'm looking forward to our next lesson! |

His lesson was excellent. He speaks very clearly, elegantly, and calmly. His way of speaking relaxed me and helped me to stay calm, though I usually get nervous and flurried. I felt really comfortable with him. Thank you! |

Today, I asked Dilhara to give me some social issue questions and I made answer speech. Before he gives me a question, he introduced some information related the questions from the news articles. Then, I could easily make answer speeches. Finally, he pointed out new words and helpful expressions necessary for my future speech. Thank you very much for giving me exciting questions and helpful information. See you next time! |

Today was the first lesson with Dilhara. We studied "Why do people yawn?" of Breaking News English. He taught me well and asked me many questions about the article, so I spent a exciting time with him. After his lesson I felt that I had studied much. I think his pronunciation was beautiful. レッスンの時間を間違えて遅れてしまいましたが、快く途中からスタートしてくださいました。落ち着いた人柄で、生徒の話を良く聞いてくれる方です。 また、最後、時間が無くなりそうな時には、アーティクルの問題に進むか、直接内容についてディスカッションするか、聞いて頂き、短いレッスン時間にも関わらず満足感のある授業となりました。きちんとレッスン進行を考えていらっしゃる先生です。 |

Today we read one of the articles from English Breaking News. Dilhara had me read the article first and pointed out where I had a room for improvement in terms of my pronouciation, which was very kind of you, thank you! Then I made my own sentences with expressions I learned from the article. I learned a lot from Dilhara today. Thank you Dilhara! I'm looking forward to your next lesson. |
