 In this lesson, we read an article entitled 'Adidas to make shoes from ocean garbage'. I'm interested in environmental issues so I enjoyed reading it. Also not just recycling garbage but Adidas use it to make fashionable items, so I liked the idea. I read the article aloud and checked out some new vocabulary. Then Dilhara asked me some questions using the article. Even if I make mistakes, he corrects them clearly and kindly, so I shouldn't be afraid to make mistake.

 At the beginning of the lesson, I told Dilhara about my favorite food. Then we read an article entitled 'Online deliveries clogging up city streets'. I'm interested to know about social issues so I enjoyed the article. He picked up some words and we checked the meaning of them.  I told him about my tough day in the beginning of the lesson. Then we read an article entitled'Overtime becomes part of holiday pay'. I read it aloud first and then Dilhara explained meaning of words and phrases which I was not familiar with. Then we discussed about some points of the article. It was an interesting article because to work is very important in our lives. Also work overtime is big issue in Japan as well.

 For today's lesson Dilhara prepared a text entitled 'New Zealand to ban foreign home buyers'. It was an interesting text and also there were several new words and expressions so I both enjoyed and learned by reading it. After I read it out loud, he described me some new words in the text and followingly he asked me some questions about it's content.
It was a little challenging text for me but not too difficult. It was interesting to know about another countries what I didn't know.

 Today, Dilhara chose me a very interesting article about "Amazon Go" that is payment system to drastically change how to pay for goods in actual shops such as supermarkets and convenience stores. It uses a technology working with APP on a shopper's mobile device.
As always, Dilhara asked me unfamilia words and phrases and explained unknown words for me. Also, I listened the related YouTube video and confirmed key phrases and useful expressions. Thank you, Dilhara for the helpful and enthusiastic lesson.
