We talked about certification tests in Japan. I'd like to explain the situation that there are many certification tests in Japan. But it's difficult to make her understand it. She said what are for. Today we were talking about contract of employment in Japanese universities. Universities sometimes adopt discretionary labour system. Under this system, workers can decide working time, but usually they are not paid for their "overtime". There are also some limited term employees and part-time lectures.
