 After talking about today's incident, we resumed our lesson of 100 power topics. I asked her to exercise Lesson 12 of elementary level again. I tried to do role-playing to talk my best friend with serious sick in the hospital. This time I remembered my experience before and tried to talk to her. To some extent, I was able to express my emotion but still felt some difficulties in choosing a proper word to my emotion. Deth kindly teach me some proper or alternative words. Thank you, Deth.  Today we tackled lesson 12 of 100 power topics in elementary level. I felt this material was more difficult than lower intermediate and even intermediate. It was difficult for me to express some emotion in the hospital in English. But it's was good practice. Thank you, Deth. See you!

 We talked about a massage in Japan and Philippine at first and then resumed our lesson with lesson 12 of 100 power topics. We discussed about expressing emotions at the workplace or showing emotions to their boss. Men tend to restrain their emotion compared with women, we thought. We discussed why.  We began with some small talks like Mother's day, my English presentation etc. Then we got started our lesson with a chapter of expressing emotions in "100 topics". After reading each line as a role-play, she asked me if I had questions. In this chapter, there was a exclamatory sentence using how + adjective and inside this sentence, there was a "very" inserted between how and adjective, like "how very considerate of you!". It's the first time for me to face this kind of expression. I asked her about it, and she explained it kindly with some other examples. Her questions to confirm my understanding of its contents were also interesting. It was a nice lesson as usual. Thank you, Deth. See you.

 Today we talked about SNS and recent North Korea move. She told me some popular SNS in Philippine like facebook, viber etc. She explained what kind of service viber is since I didn't know it.
