Thank you very much for your great lesson, Gabriel-san. Today, as usual we covered the articles from the New York Times, and then we went through the topic about sanctions imposed on middle eastern countries from developed countries. Then, we also talked the way in which the USA president performs as the leader of America.

Gabriel is one of the most helpful teachers for IELTS. He always gives me concrete advice from his experience teaching for IELTS.
Especially what I learn from him in the lesson is a lot of native-like phrases to describe more efficiently. Also since he speaks as if I were a native speaker, that motivates me to catch up with him, which is also good for listening.

At the beginning of the lesson, I talked about the events in the New Years days. In the end of them, I felt we need to make the most of our failures in our lives as lessons.
Expanding the topics to social issues, I picked up the black companies issue which is controversial in the current work environment. Gabriel gave me a lot of information about other nations' style abroad. Some countries have achieved to build up comfortable work condition for employees.
That's great and we should bring in the work styles.
Thank you for the inspiring and helpful lesson as always.
See you next time.

Today, we talked about how to spend the new year's days. Describing our culture and life is good training.
Gabriel knows very well about Japanese culture. I was surprised that when I talked about visiting shinres for prayers in New Year days,he knows Hachin shrines enshrine the god of war. I didn't know that. I can learn not only English but a variety of inforation including culture, history, art, economy, and social issues from Gabriel. That's gourgeous.
Thank you very much for the inspiring lesson. See you next lesson.

Today, we talked about the article that Japanese biggest delivery company, Yamato's new initiative to improve their decreasing profits because of labor shortage.
As usual, Gabriel explaind my unfamiliar words and meanings of some sentences easily to understand.
It was interesting that business tactics for managing workers are different between Yamato and Amazon.
It seems that the wages of Amazon delivery workers are higher that Yamato's. That might be the reason that Yamato has to raise their empolyees's
wages. Raising wages is relly good for workers. However, why can Amazon keep thier good business profits and why can't Yamato keep their profit? Are there any difference of corporate culture? Anyway, we enjoyed disucussion and he always inspires me to think about many social things from different viewpoints. Thank you Gabriel. See you next time.

Today, Gabriel offered me an interesting article. It says data proves Japanese economy is picking up pace. However, many Japanese people have not yet felt the benefit from the data. Although the rate of employment is increasing, but irregular workers such as contract workers, part-time workers and dispatched workers are more thatn regular workers. Furthermore, shortage of labor force by the decreasing birth rate is boosting the employment rate. The stock market is thriving, but wages are not increasing except large companies. Goods price, tax and welfare fees are hiking and our life is full of struggles. The gap between the rich and the poor is widening more and more.
Additionally, national debt continues to increase and the government has not yet tackle it. For these reasons, I don't feel happy or positive even though the article lines the good-lookingly tricky data. Anyway, Gabriel inspired me to organize my idea actively by this article.
Thanks!Gabriel, see you tomorrow.
