I showed my son’s “Kabuto display ” and small “Koi-Nobori 🎏” to Evelyn-sensei. She was interested in my explanation. She asked me a lot of question. I did my best. I wonder if she understood the detail about them. Also I read the “Kintaro” story rapidly. I lent an English picture book of Kintaro to explain to others from a library. I had a great time with her.

Today’s topic is “Ramen” which I requested. Evelyn-sensei loves to eat them. Me,too. Amazingly the noodles in instant ramen are about 51meters long. It was invented by a man named “安藤百福（Momo-Fuku Ando）”. Instant noodle is called Japan’s Top invention of 20th century.

初めて受講しましたが、とても話やすい雰囲気でどんどん話しかけてくれるので、楽しく会話を引き出してもらえました。元気で明るい先生です。

Today’s topic was “Will Smith Apology” which I requested. I read an article, Evelyn-sensei checked my pronunciation. And then we exchanged our opinions. I’m still confused to think about the accident. But I learned a lot from this accident. The Self-Control is one of the most important things as human being. We agreed.

I showed Ghibli’s another story to Evelyn-sensei. The title is “めいとこねこバス”．It’s a cute story. “こねこバス” is tinier than “ねこバス”．Mei always gives a caramel to someone she wants to get along with. So she gives it to “こねこバス”．Soon they become good friends. Evelyn-sensei is a curious lady. She asked some questions about this story. I had a great time as usual. In addition she showed me her wonderful poem. It made me happy.

I tried to explain the story about “Neighbor’s Totoro”. I’m excited to share this story with Evelyn-sensei. When she was an elementary student, she watched it with great joy. I’m glad to know that she is a big fan of Japanese anime.

I tried to explain about the story of “Gake-no-use-no Ponyo”. Evelyn-sensei knows very well. So she helped me a lot. I’d like to summarize the other anime movies as much as possible. Next time I’ll try to explain “Tonari-no Totoro”produced by Hayao Miyazaki.

She is very kind and polite and her lesson is really enjoyable. Time passed so fast. I will take her lesson again.

“Ikigai” is very difficult topic to think in English even in Japanese. Now, I think it’s so interesting and useful topic to think about it. Of course it depends on each human being and the situation, but in my case I feel something special “ikigai” when I can contribute to others or society. Someone connected with me feels happy makes me really happy. Avelyn-sensei is a good listener and I’m glad to exchange our opinions each other.

I showed Japanese four words idiom for Avelyn-sensei. I like the idiom “三寒四温”．These days are just such climate. Spring is just around the corner. After the small talk, she checked my pronunciation and advised me a lot. Thanks a million.

Today was March 3rd called “Hina-maturi” or “Girl’s Festival”. I tried to explain this traditional event. Avelyn-sensei asked me a lot of questions about “Hina-dolls.” It was really exciting lesson with her. I’m glad to know that she is a big fan of Japan and her father corrects Japanese dolls.

We exchanged our dream together with Avelyn-sensei. She is a powerful and attractive person, I think. She is very busy every day. She makes a wedding cake which is asked by the bride and groom every night. It’s a very beautiful design and has a very delicate decoration. I think it’s very nice 👍.

Avelyn先生は、とても聞き上手でいらっしゃいます。心穏やかになりたい時、ほっこりしたい時にいつも予約して楽しくおしゃべりしています。今回は、お互いの「睡眠」に関してのルーティンを紹介し合いました。英語が専攻、ずっと勉学に勤しんでらっしゃるそうな。頭が下がります。何をやるのにも全集中、全力投入されているのだなと感銘を受けた次第です。
