Thank you for your lesson.
The hot days still continue.
But the temperature during night is rather getting cool.
And we can hear the song of insects at night.

レッスンする度に話してるという充実感を感じられます。
私が話したい事と先生が気になるポイントが違う為、説明を用意して無かった所を聞かれて慌てますが私の分かる単語で説明しますが、知ってる単語のみで話し出す為、まぁ変てこな感じになりますが先生は「あなたが言いたいのは、こんなかな？」みたいに正しい言い方に導いて下さり、私は回を追うごとに話せるようになっている気がします。本当に親切で優しく朗らかな先生で初心者の方にもおすすめです！

Evelyn-sensei taught me how to pronounce letter “wh-”, “-sh”, “-ch”, “p-” which were difficult for me. She explained politely. Thanks so much. Also we shared how to make water more interesting or enjoyable. Her mother and I drink water with a spoonful lemon including citric acid. She send me a water picture floating lemon, cucumber and mint as a summer drink. I’d like to try make it someday.

とても素敵な先生だと感じました。
普段はネイティブの先生ばかりなのですが、変なクセがなくネイティブのようにキレイな英語を話して下さるので聞き取り易く初心者の方でも大丈夫かと思います。
沢山質問して下さるので、英語で伝えたい気持ちになり英語をアウトプット出来るのでレッスンした！って感じの達成感持てますね。また、宜しくお願いします！！

I asked Evelyn-sensei what was the most important thing to keep good relationship with others. She answered that the communication was very important to keep it whatever happened. I totally agree with her. Also I like to contact with others by writing letters.

明るい先生で、あまり緊張しないでレッスンを受けることができました。どんどん質問してくれて、あっという間に時間が過ぎました。はきはきした喋り方で聞き取りやすかったです。

Today’s topic is “Chocolate”. Chocolate contains “Theobromine”. It’s good for human beings, but not good for dogs. I was glad that Evelyn-sensei was interested in this information. Anyway we crave chocolate everyday, I’d like to keep eating it in moderation.

She is a nice teacher. I had a lot of fun in class. Thank you.

I described seasonable flowers to Evelyn-sensei. When I explained the hydrangea flowers, I wanted to show “Teru-Teru-bozu” for her. But she was interested in the ginko-trees (イチョウの木) in autum. So I tried to explain it excluding ginko-nuts （ギンナン）. I didn’t talk well. I’d like to describe them well. Anyway I had a great time with her as usual.

教材を選びましたが、フリートークにすれば良かったなと思うくらい楽しかったです。
次回はフリートークにして、いろんなことをお話ししたいです。

First, I said to Evelyn-sensei “Congratulations for graduation from the college 🎉” . She told me a lot. Also she showed her family’s photos. They made me so happy. I showed and told about Japanese traditional events（including お宮参り／七五三／入学式／成人式／卒業式／結婚式　etc. ) I was glad that she was very interested in them.

I talked to Evelyn-sensei about recent events to welcome ex-English teacher who lives in Canada. We needed to prepare a lot of things including surprise birthday cake. She was very delighted to join the party. We can’t wait to see her again. By the way Evelyn-sensei will participate her Graduation ceremony from college on Sunday. Congratulations 🎉 Next time I want hear her story.
