Looking back to the lessons in the past, it is quite amazing that you can cover a wide range of topics in class. Whatever subject that I chose without informing you in advance, you can provide appropriate response, teaching and advice so that I can enjoy it with satisfaction. |

In this lesson we read an article entitled 'What's the Difference Between England, Britain and the U.K.?'. It was a challenging article for me with several difficult vocabulary, but it was interesting topic that I was not sure about. Also Richard introduced me a video explaining about the topic and I watched it later. The man in the video talked super fast so I hardly cought up what the man was saying but it was interesting video to watch. Thank you for the lesson and see you soon! |

I chose the topic of free trade for today's lesson. I learned that food security is different from food safety. "Food security" suggests the adequacy of food to society, the equitable distribution, confirmed supply, etc. On the other hand, "food safety" is concerned with safe sources of all foods, freedom from avoidable chemical and microbial contamination. I was mistaken in thinking that those two terms mean the same. Thank you for giving me the correct knowledge! |

This time you and my daughter started the lesson with a free talk. I appreciate you asked her some questions about the things she talked to you. Then she did one activity and one game you prepared for her. The activity was making a sentence and the game was reading a word and finding a corresponding picture. In the second half of the lesson she reviewed present continuous tense with you and learned some phonics rules. Your lessons are always extensive and I appreciate your warm and cheerful personality. |

Today my daughter reviewed two sounds, long a,e,i,o,u and short ones based on the phonics rules using the game you prepared for her. It was a little bit difficult but it was a nice lecture and I think she understood roughly. After that she learned some phrases "Where is **" and "** is at **" on the text and practiced the phrases using the present continuous tense as well. Overall it was a really good lesson as always. |

I really enjoyed Teacher Richard's lesson today. During his lesson, time passed fast. While listening to his interesting self introduction, I imagined the vast African land and its local people farming there feeling breeze. And the pictures of Smoky Mountain he showed me were so beautiful. Thanks to his lesson, I was able to take a glance at the world I could never experience. Teacher Richard is so intelligent and interesting. I'd like to take his lesson again soon. |

We discussed the matter of compulsory retirement today. Your questions and related topics are always incisive and profitable. I am going to review this topic, particularly about specific examples of senior citizens contributing to communities and society. Thank you so much! |

Today my daughter learned 5W1H with you using the material you prepared for her. She chose an appropriate word for a given sentence among the 5W1H words. It was a really good exercise. After that she studied "present continuous tense" with you on the text LET'S GO where she practiced using the tense and you asked some questions of the right level. I greatly appreciate your constantly warm and cheerful personality that makes easy for her to take your lessons. |

In this lesson, I shared my plan for the weekend first. Then read an article 'A Vanishing Species'. There were new words for me and Richard described me about them and also for some of them I guessed the meaning before he gave me answers. It helped me to think by myself before I knew the answers. Thank you for the lesson and see you soon. |

Thank you for the intellectual lesson! We discussed the topic of preventing crime and protecting privacy. I am a novice at computers, so it was difficult to speak about cybercrimes in detail. It is a good phrase, better safe than sorry. My ignorance is scary:) |

You and my daughter started the lesson with the text where she did some exercises with you, you asked some questions and you taught her some phonics. I appreciate your questions are always of the right level. After that she read an e-book you kindly piked up for her where she learned some new words. The verb "let" was difficult for her to understand and she needs more practice. I greatly appreciate your warm and cheerful personality. |

We read an article entitled 'Japan’s ‘drone-brella’ promises hands-free sun cover'. I read it aloud and then we discussed about it. It was a bit difficult to tell My thoughts, but I tried and Richard listened me patiently. It was enjoyable to discuss about something in English. Thank you for the lesson and see you soon! |

It was wonderful for my daughter to have a reading lesson with you. The books you chose for her were just right level and I think she enjoyed them with you where you asked some nice questions after reading. The lesson based on the text was also nice as always where you taught her some grammar and talked to her a lot. |

Today is a bonus day for me, not only because I had a chance hearing about the story of your family tree but also because I could hear your prediction. Thank you so much!! I'm looking forward to the next lesson. |

It was another fun conversation with you, Richard. Finding an article, studying it before the class, reading it and talking about the topic in class is a kind of established pattern that I am recently following, which I feel very much comfortable with. I would like to continue this way, while learning new things like "tickling my fancy" or"tickling my funny bone." :) |
