I read a new article about a Novel prize winner in today's lesson. There were some words I was not familiar with and Max explained those words with excellent examples. "Roll over Bob Dylan" is a strange but very interesting expression. Max, it's so kind of you to give me feedbacks with descriptions about the vocabraries I learned. They help me better understand the vocabraries and your example sentences make me laugh! I am always looking forward to reading them. I really appreciate that. See you in the next lesson!

Thank you very much for your excellent lesson. As you spoke slowly and clearly to me, I could understood what you said well. Your explanations were easy to understand, and you led the lesson smoothly as usual. I enjoyed your lesson very much. Have a nice weekend.

Thank you for the exciting lesson, as usual. I am now “regretting” that I could have used more suitable words and phrases. I’m looking forward to talking about these variety kind of topics.

I have not taken call from teacher.

Today we used internet text and I practiced answering phone call. Sometime my words don't come out at all. I think this is more difficult than telling my own opinion about something. It was very good practice. Thank you!

The internet condition was bad. But, thank you for trying your best to talk to me. Though I could not see your live video and our connection was chopped, I could talk several topics about friends. In addition, your health condition was seemed to not be good. I hope your condition including internet will get better soon.:) Thank you for making your time today. See you soon. Take care of yourself.

Today I asked Kathryn-sensei to help me with one English question. Her explanation was clear enough for me to understand what I had not understood. Then she explained to me some expressions used only in England. It was very interesting to talk about such expressions.
Kathryn G.先生 01/18
Today's article was not long, but it contained many important words and expressions. So it was a very good material for me. And Max explained so kindly. Thank you very much!

自己紹介 Hello everyone ^^
I'm Daisy and I come from Pasadena, California.
My city is the home to the famous CalTech so it attracts students and scientist from all over the world!

I'm an outgoing, social person, and I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I've traveled the world: from South America, across Africa, all the way to Asia.
My father has been working in Chiba, Japan, for almost 20 years now, so I've had an opportunity to travel to Japan and get to know its people. To this day, Japanese culture continues to amaze me. Recently, I've discovered Umeboshi plumbs and if you ask me it's the most awesome thing I've tried in years!

I have 3 years of experience in teaching English online to Japanese students.
In addition to that, I'm currently learning Croatian, and now I truly understand the struggles of learning a new language. This experience has strongly added to my motivation for helping others to learn and master their English.
I'm so happy to be a part of the Eigox community, and I look forward to meeting you all in class! ^^

I love to read books, play board games, experiment with cooking and I try to travel as much as possible.
