Thanks, Max. We talked about the daily news. He asked me many questions, and I was able to answer most of them. He also made some jokes from time to time, which helped me relax during the lesson. During the Christmas season, many Japanese people enjoy KFC as a special meal, almost like a substitute for turkey. Although most Japanese people aren't Christians, they still love the festive Christmas atmosphere. It's common to give presents to kids, and stories about Santa Claus and the birth of Jesus Christ are treated as a kind of fantasy. Hamburgers and pizza are relatively new additions to Japanese cuisine. For me, hamburgers feel like a treat—I don't eat them every day or even every week. It’s probably similar to how Americans view authentic Japanese food like ramen. See you next time, and thank you! |

We talked about giant insects that lived 320 million years ago today. Max gave me a lot of questions about what I was thinking. I tried to answer those questions, but my explanations were not natural or perfectly correct. However, Max gave me the correct forms that natives speak. Those correct phrases are able to help me a lot. I will review it and refine my English sentence structures. Thank you so much. See you next time. |

Max taught me natural English speaking when I mistook it. Thanks a lot. I realized the necessity of learning natural phrases. I'm going to watch English movies to acquire the natural. To do it next time, I might improve. See you. |
