Thank you for today's lesson. It gave me a chance to think about "custom" by discussing this topic. It is fun to learn new things relating to British culture from a British teacher. |

外国人の先生でしたが、問題なくおそらくどのレベルの生徒さんも受講できると思います。生徒さんは全員日本人だということでジャパニーズアクセントや言い回しにも慣れていらっしゃって楽しい25分でした。 Thanks!! |

His lesson is always very helpful and useful. I really thank his sincere attitude that he always tries to teach something new or beneficial for me. Even during free conversation in the begining, he taught me useful expressions or words. I always ask him to review my speech script because he's very knowledgeable and very reliable. Thank you for your advice, Mark! See you soon! |

Today, I asked Mark to check my speech scriopt for improvement. Thanks to his suggestion, my speech has become sophisticated and natural. I found I often try to make English sentences by Japanese structure forcefuly, that is my bad habit, but Mark patiently improved them. Thank you, Mark and see you next lesson. |

This is my first class with Mark. After introducing ourselves each other, we talked about our common hobbies: watching sports and travelling. He is knowledgeable about various topics, so I enjoyed talking with him very much. Besides, he gave me some advice to improve my writing skill. |

In this lesson we continued reading and article from previous lesson entitled 'The jobs in India that attract thousands of applicants'. The content was interesting that the view toward jobs were very difficult from my culture. There were some new words and expressions I learned through this lesson. Mark chose me an interesting article about an incident of a bus driver slapping a boy who hurled an insult to the bus driver. Mark explained my unfamiliar words and phrases understandably. This is a controversial incident. Violence should be definitely avoided. At the same time parents should teach their children good manners and behaviors. It's a good chance to think about descipline to children because it is necessary for my job. Thank you, Mark for picking up the interesting article and encouragin me. See you next lesson. |

Today, we talked about the article "Tackling food waste in Nigeria with an app". I was surprised to hear that one third of food in supermarkets are wasted because of expiring the shelf life aroud the world. However, in Nigeria, one IT engineer invented the app to connect the food that shops throw away with hungry epople in porverty, in corporation with NGOs. That's an amazing system. I found that IT could make our society better. Mark patiently listened to my opinion and paraphrased my words to more suitable ones and suggested any other ideas to inspired me. Thank you, Mark for interesting lessons as always. See you next lesson. |
