I always appreciate his sincere and useful lessons. I guess that there're no other half-price teachers offering such wonderful lessons! He's also very patient so tries to explain hard untill I understand. So I get disappointed when I notice that I made same mistakes that had been pointed out. Thank you, Mark. See you! |

I told about the funeral of my neighbour fish monger's wife. She was loved by many customers. Some bought fish, and used to have a long chat. Their son worried about father, so they set the funeral very quickly. She died on Monday night, and funeral was Wednesday. Mark was surprised to hear that, because it is impossible to set a funeral so quick in Britain. Thanks for interesting talk. I found many things. |

Eating meat causes environmental damage on the earth, because cattle eats soya which need huge land and water to grow up and soya plantations destroy forests. In order to solve this problem, some dog food company started to make dog food including insect calld black fly as protein source. Mark chose me the interesting article. I learned some people are eager to tackle environmental problems with new ideas, on the other hand some people just think only profits form their economical activities without thinking about the global environment for the next generation. By reading world news article, I can study English and enjoy many different ideas and latest information. Thank you, Mark for your inspiring lesson. See you next time. |

We talked much about history and places. When we were younger, we didn't find the value of the tourist spots where we visited. But, after reading books and knowing more, we can enjoy the tour more. Thank you very much. See you soon! |

My hip-joint is getting worse these days. So today's topic started about joints. Joints getting worn-out as we get older. When bones get rubbed,I feel much pain. The only way to improve such problem is joint-replacement surgery. Mark said "that's a big sugery!" I think I must keeo my hip-joint from getting worse. I am scared of such surgery. Then he asked how cold Japan was. It is about minus 17 degrees celsius especially during the night in Czech. He said he could walk on the ponds in his garden. Theans to Mark I am getting more confident in speaking English. |

I am sorry that this lesson did not meet the students expectations. As the student did not want to take part in any self introductions or small talk at the start of the lesson, it was difficult to make her feel relaxed or to build any kind of rapport with her. This was made even harder by the fact that she did not use a camera. I did my best to give her the best lesson possible but it was not easy to know how she was feeling because I could not see her. I would recommend that she uses her camera and engages in some introductions and small talk with her tutors so that she can have more constructive, useful and engaging lessons in the future. Thank you. |

Today, we talked about the article "Women's rights in Saudi Arabia,,,". I was surprised to know that there is still such a country where women have less freedom to choise their action and they have to obey orders from male family members or male relatives. Today's new expressins are "cut a key""get hold of,,,""take for granted""gurdian""high-profile""garner",,,etc. Mark always broaden my horizon by informative and inspiring topics. See you next lesson! |

I enjoyed small talks with Mark as useal. I could learn how to use to say things in English through conversation. I am especially happy when I remembered the ways of saying that I had learned in the past. I'm really grateful to him for helping me in English speaking. |
