 I am sorry I could not explain "Vernal Equinox Day". Why is the length between the day time and the night time equal? Why is Vernal Equinox Day a national holiday in Japan? It was difficult for me to explain the reason in English.

 I learned how to improve listening skill using the on-line material according to your helpful advice.  Today, I had a big wrong. I mistook batter as butter. We don't use butter when we cook tempra, but we use batter when we cook it. I was confused a lot in our conversation.
