I have always been interested in Japanese culture and the language, and 2 years ago I moved to Saitama. I also studied abroad for one year in AIU in Akita where I learned many things, such as how to speak Japanese and how to plant rice. My favorite memory was teaching English to a kindergarten in Akita; that was priceless. I also have experience teaching Japanese elementary and junior high students!
My hobbies include drawing, painting, biking, working out, learning Japanese, farming, and tap dancing! Right now I am growing basil, tomatoes, and strawberries on my balcony.
Because I live in Japan and am studying Japanese, I understand Japanese culture, the Japanese education system, and how Japanese students work. I am also studying Japanese, so I know student life! I also speak Japanese, so you don't have to worry. I also have my TEFL.
