 ネット環境の調子が悪く何度か画面がフリーズしてしまいましたが、なんとか会話を続けることができました。自分が伝えたい事柄を示す英単語が思いつかない時に、別の単語にシフトして説明する力が身につくレッスンだったと思います。
私の場合、会話力よりもその基礎となる英語力がまだ備わっていないため、上記のようなレッスンがレベルに合っていたと思います。
フィードバックでくださる評価は他の講師と比べると厳しいですが、妥当だと思います。基礎を磨いてもっと評価レベルを上げたいと思います。

 彼のレッスンは初めて受けたため、自己紹介を中心に話しました。
品詞の区別が苦手で間違って使っていることが多かったので、それらを指摘してくださり良かったです。
いつもはスピーキングよりリスニングに苦戦するのですが、ロブ先生は、時々日本語を交えながらゆっくり丁寧に話してくれたため、どの英語も聞き取りやすかったです。
とても楽しかったので、また今度レッスンを受けたいと思います。

 It was nice meeting you, Rob.
We started our session with a brief self-introduction. Since Rob once worked in the place nearby my apartment, we had some in common. One of them was an all-you-can-eat curry restaurant that had a unique system for customers waiting in line.
And then, he showed me some of the amazing photos he took from his apartment. These photos are nicely arranged on his website, which was like a fine art gallery. Taking time-lapse videos of cloudy California skies is also his hobby, and he told me how to take them as I asked him.
Our conversation got so lively that we went over time.
Thank you, Rob. I wholeheartedly enjoyed the lesson, but I think we have left a lot to talk with.

 Talking with Rob is always fun. Today I explained Kinjiro Ninomiya to him as a symbol of "effort" in Japan. I described the famous statue of Kinjiro, like he is reading a book while walking with firewood on his back, but nowadays new statues are made in a sitting posture because it is said that children today think he is looking at smartphone while walking, which has negative affect on them. He corrected my English meticulously while I was explaining above and gave me a note after the lesson. Thank you for your advice as always. See you.
