Yesterday, we talked about complaints. When I was in customer service department, I often dealt with complaints. One day, my colleague ask me to deal with customers call which he received. He said he couldn’t understand what customer says. As soon as I was transferred the call, elderly customer didn’t tell the complaints but started his story. It was mostly funny things. He said that many aliens already invaded our society but government hides the fact. He talked without stopping, and I did nothing but heard. Sometimes I turned the phone into speaker mode, many colleague heard it. Some colleague giggled and the some said he must be insane. After he showed off his knowledge over 50 min, he finally talked his intention. He would like to get consulting job from our company. Then I said “Unfortunately we can’t. That's good enough”.

Britain was a trail blazer of social security system. But, nowadays, though European(especially Scandinavian) countries still have advanced social security, Britain is going different way. Why Britain changed? When Britain changed? Japan and Britain is very similar. That was today's topics.

As a native English speaker having been born, raised, and lived in the US for 61 years I am a multi-faceted person holding a degree whose interests range from intellectual pursuits to participation in sports and other such physical activities to working to understand how physical activities alter the structure of the brain and thus affect the mind. My musical interests are quite eclectic ranging from folk and popular, to rock and progressive rock, and even include the full ‘classical’ set from the early (pre 1600 CE) European which primarily had its roots in the work of wandering entertainers to the Gregorian chants that were rooted in prayer, to today’s neoclassical variations. Thus, being somewhat educated in many areas I can readily provide good discourse without hesitation on many topics. Further, I am acquainted with the difficulties in learning languages other than the primary language of my country as I have learned a bit of Spanish, German, French - all of which I have not used in more than 30 years so I am quite rusty at those - and am currently working on learning Korean.

One of the things I enjoy most though is finding means to connect with others. Whether this comes through engagement in some specialized learning activities or through one on one mentoring I find that connection with others has proven a positive means by which I and those with whom I interact can grow. I take special happiness when those with whom I work begin to succeed in reaching for the goals they have set before coming to me to learn. To help make learning more fun I approach life as an adventure in which everyone learning a new skill has found a new way to bring positive change into their lives.
