According to the article that you introduced to me, the ingredient in marijuana has a good effect on the brain aging. That's an interesting argument. But there are very few people who advocate legalizing marijuana in Japan. Anyway in aging society we have to find the way of recovering memory loss caused by alzheimer dementia. Thank you so much!

Tonight, our internet connection was a little bad, so she tried to connect Skype to me several times. Eventually, though the connection had a little noise, we could complete online material. Her teaching was very polite and nice as usual. Thank you so very much, Nix. See you soon!

I took Jing's lesson for the first time in almost a month. She often asked me my research topic. Today we also talked about waste management about stocked waste in our house and aged people. In fact, this was the first time for me to talk about this topic in English. She asked me of this topic from various ways, so it was a good practice for me. Thank you, Jing. See you.

Charlotte, thank you for the lesson today, the kids liked talking with you, and they said they want to continue to take lessons with you. As you said, I should leave the kids by themselves in the room from the next time, so they won't rely on me. Kenji thought the textbook was a bit difficult for him, so can he start with 1, too? Thanks. Yuko

Today, I learned English with the lyrics of the cranberries song. Lyrics are difficult sometimes, but I can taste the richness of words. Thank you for the lovely lesson!

It was very fun talking with her. She's very cheerful and kind, so I could relax and enjoyed her lesson. She let me talk about myself and we talked about Japanese things. I found difficult to introduce about place where I live in though. I enjoyed the lesson very much! It was nice to see you finally(^^)

自己紹介 Hello! My name is Rylan and I currently reside in Cleveland, OH, the land of Rock N Roll. I am an easy going man with a good sense of humor and the desire to make everything I do fun and unique. I like to get involved with the arts, teach myself woodworking, go to concerts, watch baseball (Cleveland Indians), practice yoga, and embark on long bike rides when the weather is nice (Cleveland has similar seasons to Japan, with more snow).

I always had a desire to see other cultures, to experience and understand other ways of life, so one day I bought a flight to Johannesberg and started a journey around the world, living in Africa and parts of Asia, and riding my bicycle across Japan, from Yakushima to Hakodate. Along the way I had amazing experiences with local people, and I noticed how determined and excited everyone was to learn the English language, so I helped some of the younger students and really enjoyed the interaction I had with them. I enjoy so many things about Japan, but the people made my experience more memorable than I ever could have imagined. I'd like to continue to have these interactions, because as much as I will be teaching you, you will also be teaching me. I hope to gain insight into each of our cultures through educational conversation in an inspiring environment. The idea of cultural connections through online language lessons intrigues me greatly! One thing I have become passionate about as I get older is creating connections with new people that enter my life. Language is an incredibly interesting way to do that, especially when the connection is formed between two cultures. I hope to learn about my students and their lives just as much as I hope to be an amabassador of my life and country for you.

I have been told by friends and family that I explain things patiently and articulately and that my teaching methods are adaptable to all kinds of learning styles. Being a native American English speaker and having familiarity with Japanese culture, my aim is to establish a fun cross cultural learning environment for my students, so that they not only learn to accurately speak, write and understand the complexities of the English language and achieve their goals, but that they also feel comfortable and confident applying that knowledge to real world situations. I can teach all facets of English, including grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary, to all age groups. Additionally, I have spent 5 years working in corporate America, as an IT consultant, and can teach you common business speak and behaviors to help you understand how business is done in English. If my student is more interested in understanding day to day conversational colloquialisms and idioms, then I would be happy to indulge in free flowing fun casual conversation about any topic of your choosing, whether it be something you would like to know about me and my country or something you would like to tell me about yourself or Japan. I am open minded and fun to be around and I hope to be the person to build a bridge leading you to accomplishing your English language goals. Book an appointment, let's meet, and I look forward to getting to know you and having some fun! Who knows, you may even make a new friend!
