I am a certified teacher from England. I qualified as a teacher in 2010 from the University of Sheffield after first studying a Hispanic Studies degree at the University of Manchester.
I first started teaching Spanish at Secondary school level in UK schools and then I moved onto teaching English as a foreign language. I worked with the recently arrived refugees in schools, giving them extra English lessons and helping them settle into their new surroundings. I found this experience very rewarding.
I have also done a lot of my teaching career in Mexico, where I have been a Primary School teacher and also taught English at the local University and at a Government girls' home. I think these experiences show how I am comfortable working with a wide range of ages and within different settings.
I have a lot of resources at my disposal which I have used throughout my career. However, I am more than happy to plan individually to cater for the student's needs and requirements.
I currently live in Mexico with my husband and two young children. I am a patient, kind and friendly person and this reflects on my teaching method.
