Hi, I am Maria and I am first generation Australian; my parents were immigrants (late '60's) from Italy.
In 2011 I started my journey in Italy and surrounds, I became familiar with the customs, food, traditions and language as well as the dialects of the country.
I have many hobbies and interests, one which stands out most, is hearing people laugh and enjoy life to it's fullest. I like to live my life as if everyday could be the last.
During these times of change I like to embrace everything as a challenge with a solution in which we can go forward and create wonderful things. At the same time sometimes a problem is just that and can be left to the side without losing sleep over it.
I started teaching English over 10 years ago in Australia. First as a volunteer teaching Immigrants and International Students. I was so overwhelmed by how much they learnt, as well as how much time they put into their studies and practice. I knew I would continue teaching English in Italy. It is a wonderful experience seeing students fulfill their goals.
As part of a lesson I love to encourage my students to communicate as much as possible,to practice vocabulary, sentence structure as well as listening, speaking, reading and writing. Over a period of time I believe that with the help of resources and dedicated practice the language becomes somewhat easier.
With a good structure and study time I know I can assist you with learning English. Please look me up as I am always on the move around Italy or Australia.
